The Treasurer’s Office is the property tax collector for Asotin County, cities, school districts and all the other taxing authorities in the County. Property taxes are levied on the property by the various taxing authorities based on the valuation and current property usage as set by the Assessor’s Office.
The Treasurer also provides financial services to special purpose districts and other units of local government, including the responsibility to receipt, disburse, invest and account for the funds of each entity.
