The Asotin County Jail is operated by the
Asotin County Sheriff’s Office and houses adult offenders and pre-trial
arrestees. Our facility has a standard capacity of 47 inmates, with an
emergency capacity of 58. The jail is staffed 24 hours per day by 1 Captain,
4 Sergeants, 8 Corrections Officers, and a Transport Officer.
The Asotin County Jail offers bed spaces to
the Washington Department of Correction to temporarily house probation
violators, as well as serving as the primary detention facility for the City
of Asotin and the City of Clarkston.
Our facility contracts out for its
medical, mental health, and dental services. Life skills, educational, and
religious programs are offered through volunteer services. Inmates also
enjoy a limited commissary program and a library. Work release and home
detention services are also available.
The Asotin County Jail also supports the
community by offering inmate labor to local government and non-profit
organizations, to include the Asotin County Landfill, Courthouse, Litter
Control, Weed Control, and Fair Board. Other community services include
public fingerprinting.

Saturday from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM for inmates with
last names beginning with A-M.
Sunday from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM for inmates with last
names beginning with N-Z.

Saturday from 7:30 PM until 9:30 PM
Public Fingerprinting: (Picture ID
required)
Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 PM until 5:30 PM.
Cost: $10 (cash or money order) for applicant
fingerprints. Concealed weapon permit fingerprint costs are covered by the
fee charged by the Sheriff’s Office.
