Public notice is hereby given that there is one vacant position as a voting member of the Asotin County Noxious Weed Control Board for District 5.
The eligible person must be a registered voter of Asotin County and reside within the geographical area of District 5 (Clarkston/Asotin). District 5 is generally that geographical area surrounding the cities of Clarkston and Asotin, extending south and west of the Snake River, east of a longitudinal line running through the junction of Asotin Creek Road and Cloverland Road, and north of a latitudinal line running through Weissenfels Road.
This is a volunteer position and board members receive no salary, but shall be compensated for actual and necessary expenses incurred for official duties. The term of office shall be four (4) years.
